Obituary of Carmen Sewranee Cooblal
Please share a memory of Carmen to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Carmen Sewranee Cooblal was born to the wonderful parents
of Supal and Moses Dindial on November 8th, 1931 in Sangre
Grande, Trinidad. Married to the late John Cooblal in June
1949, they continued their married life in Arima where they
brought seven lovable children into this world. As a mother,
Carmen worked relentlessly with Dad and the kids on the
family business over the years but never failed to continue to
provide love and total commitment to her family. She was the
most giving person; always ready to lend a helping hand
wherever and whenever the opportunity knocked.
In April, 1984, Carmen and John moved to Toronto to make it
their primary residence but often returned to Trinidad since
some of her children still resided there. She had been the
strength and the rock of our family, like glue holding a puzzle.
Without her, life will certainly be a challenge. She will
definitely be missed dearly by her entire family. Being in her
presence was truly a blessing for all of us. Though no longer
with us, her spirit will continue to be cherished and loved.
