My dearest beloved brother was loved and revered by his parents, siblings and everyone who knew him. Our childhood was a very happy one and I will always remember the happy moments we shared. He was a gentle, caring and loving person who was always a joy to be with. I will miss his beautiful smile and his clarity of speech (a real scholar). My brother you will always remain in my heart, you have departed but will never be forgotten. Love always Malo

Our sincere condolences to the entire Chabnnauth family for the loss of an extraordinary person. We pray God would surround the family with His presence, grace them with His perfect Love and give them His Peace that is beyond our understanding. We grieve with much confidence knowing that Robin is in a much better place with his Lord. In our weakness, we can depend on God’s strength to give us the fortitude to move forward in the days ahead.
Deep love. Savitri Didi entire Family.

This is one of the saddest times of our lives. Our handsome, gentle, loving brother Rabindranauth, better known as 'Rabin' has said his final goodbye. Due to present circumstances, we are unable to be there with you on your final journey. But, we believe in destiny, and we have accepted what is happening.
Here is just a handful of my memories growing up. I left Guyana at the tender age of 17 but I am going to describe some of the times I remembered about my darling brother.
Every morning he would look for his Ma and Daddy to say good morning.
We as children had our disagreements, but I do not remember any occasion when my gentle brother was involved. Make no mistake, we knew when he was annoyed with our behaviour, just one look at him and you knew you had to 'shut up'.
Every morning we had to fetch 2 buckets of water and leave them in the sun to get warm so he could shower.
I remember, after his shower, standing in the sun (towel wrapped around him) looking at his shadow on the vat fixing his hair (not one strand was out of place when he had finished).
I remember when Ma was in labour with Indrani. Rabin did not leave the house to go to his teaching job until he heard our Laxmi crying, Ma was ok and Indrani was born.
Every month when he received his pay packet he would bring it home unopened and give it to Daddy, and then Daddy would give him spending money.
He used to ride a pedal bike, but he saved and bought a motorbike (disaster as far as Ma was concerned). There were times when he gave our Mother the fright of her life. Once I remember we received a message to say Rabin was in an accident (one of many). You can imagine the relief when he and his motorbike were pulled out from under a truck intact. It wasn't his time.
Usually at weekends, he would meet up with his friends somewhere in No 2 or Canje. I remember he came home late (8pm or 9pm was late). Daddy, of course, locked the gate so he couldn't get in. He would then call and beg Daddy to let him in as he was scared of the dark. Often times Basil Mamoo would get up and ask Daddy to let 'the boy' in.
I could go on and on with various incidents but, I want to say from my heart that he was the most gentle, loving and well loved brother and son and we will miss and love you always brother. We wanted to be there to say our final goodbye but as I've mentioned before, circumstances have prevented us from doing so.
We love you and we will always miss you very very much.
Rest in peace our darling brother.
All our love,
Locho, Malo, Eno and family
xxxxxx

Our deepest sympathy to Annie and family , Rabin's brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews. This loss of our dearest brother , is very painful. Unable to give you the farewell you deserved, break our hearts. As children growing up together, we created our own precious memories of each other. My memories of Rabin dada is that of a loving person, happy to see his family. He was soft spoken, very neat, funny and always had a beautiful smile. My best memory of him, is the hours he spent in the sun, with a towel on his face, drying his hair. I was very fortunate to spend some precious time with him last June. We laughed about drying his hair. Rabin dada will be remembered by all his family members and cousins, as a sweet, kind, loving and FUNNY person. You will be missed by all of us. Gone but never forgotten. Love you brother. R.I.P. Datsy , and the rest of Cecil Lachman's family.

I will miss our conversations on the Bible. You knew so many scriptures. You loved listening to Hymns. Dino, Joshua, Maria and I will see you on the other side of Glory one joyous day. You knew Him who saved you. I wonder about your conversations with the Lord Jesus now. Makes my heart smile. Jesus lives, therefore you live. Praise God!

It is with profound sadness that my family and I pay tribute to our favourite brother-in-law, Rabindranauth who passed away after a extended period of illness.. He was a compassionate and caring person whose legacy will live on. He remained modest, nether haughty nor boastful, always pleasant and friendly, and it was impossible not to admire his amiable personality. To his sorrowing wife,Annie, and his children Clive, Stephan, and his grandchildren, I tender our heartfelt condolescences both on my behalf, that of my immediate family and also sorrowing siblings and in-laws. Rest in peace.
