Never Forget You - Lupe Fiasco ft. John Legend
Alex, you were one of the smartest, funniest, coolest, and kindest dudes I have ever met. You were one of the few people who understood my jokes and you had amazing taste in music, I remember Lupe was one of your favourite rappers. You were such a skilled artist and graphic designer and the best part is you never kept your talents and knowledge to yourself, you were always willing to share with and help the people around you. You were a giver, not a taker. I still remember the day in Gr. 12 World Issues class where you told everyone you just got hired at Party Packagers and that led to us working together and I remember you’d always help me out when we were closing/cleaning the store, you’d give me the bigger broom and you’d take the smaller one so it would be easier for me. You were always making everyone else feel better about themselves, regardless of how you were feeling deep down. My entire family has only good things to say about you, you were a really good kid. I’m grateful for the memories we made, all of them are full of laughter and genuinely good times. It’s devastating to know we can’t make any more of those moments happen, but I’m sure you’re in a happier more freeing place now. We will never forget you, Alex. <3

Alex was hands down one of the nicest person I have ever met. He had such a big heart and was always all smiles. Alex and I attended Highschool together & while in Highschool I moved to a different house without realizing that Alex was only a few houses down from me. I always remember looking forward to seeing his smiling face when I go for my walks or when I’d walk to catch the bus and every time I saw him outside his house we’d stop what we’re doing and talk for a while. He would always offer me a ride to the bus and one memory I will never forget of him is when one day I remember I was about to catch the bus to toronto which would have taken a long time getting there plus the weather condition wasn’t the greatest that day so Alex offered to give me a ride and we ended up getting lunch and spending most of the day together. Although me and Alex weren’t the closest of friends it was after that day I had gained a huge amount of respect for him. I’ve never met anyone who was so selfless and thoughtful like him. Although this took place a few years ago every time I pass by his house I always remember what he did for me and if he can have this kind of an impact on just a friend like me I can’t even imagine the impact he’s had on his close friends and loved ones. I’m so sorry for your loss. Alex was an amazing and gentle soul. My condolences go out to his loved ones, stay strong and may he rest in eternal peace ♥️ - Shazia

Alex was always fun to be with and was a great friend. He was always surrounded by people in both middle and high school. In middle school we would always play soccer with a bunch of friends every recess, get bunch of us and play grounders at the park and ride our bikes, and it never be a full moment. In highschool, we didn't talk as much but all I knew is that we hung out at the table at lunch and play card games until the bell rang to get to class. I give my deepest condolences and prayers out to his family and I wish them well through these tough times. RIP Drepaul, We'll miss you lots.
