Obituary of Corbarran Basil “Bage” Baldeo
In loving memory Corbarran Basil “Bage” Baldeo (April 13, 1939 - October 14,
2020). It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of
our father, grandfather and great grandfather on Wednesday October 14,2020
at 5:30 pm at the Scarborough General Hospital after having several health
complications (not COVID-19).
He was born in Grove, East Bank Demerara on April 13,1939. He immigrated
to Canada in 1990 and resided in Scarborough for the rest of his life. He is
predeceased by his father, Benji bob; his mother, Dulie; his wife Taramantie ;
his eldest daughter, Nalini; his son-in-law, Mukesh and his grandson, Kunal
(Boy);.He is survived by his children. Baba; Shanta; Nav; Babita; and his two
sons-in-law, Rocky; Dharmendra (Brother); his six brothers , Bracks;
Weatherman; David; Shawn; Jeff; Dilip. His four sister, Glory; Sheila; Mohini;
Bena; he is also survived by his 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
He was an outstanding individual who always exceeded in whatever he set his
mind to. He was a family man who loved being around his daughters and
grandchildren. He always loved going back home to Guyana to see his family
that are currently residing there. He always had a love for baking and trying
new food items. He loved going fishing and relaxing on the water whenever he
got a chance to do so. He would never miss an opportunity when it came to
dancing. He was the type of individual who not only loved sharing stories but
also hearing stories from other individuals. He had his dreams and hopes, and
he always made sure to put everyone before himself. In his presence, you
would feel a sense of relaxation. His laughter would light up the whole room
as he enters.
He always loved a good western movie especially one with John
Wayne. He always enjoyed a cricket match especially when the Guyana
Warriors were involved. He was an active individual who was always on the
go because he never liked sitting around and not having anything to do. He
loved to travel especially with his late wife. He was truly one of a kind and he
will be deeply missed by not only his family but each and every individual who
has ever been touched by his mind,body and soul.
