Obituary of Krishna Maini
Please share a memory of Krishna to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
It is with a heavy heart that we mourn the passing of Krishna Kumari Maini beloved wife of Hari Har Maini on November 6th 2021. Mom will be deeply missed by her husband and life partner of 62 years. Her children Ruby, Rosie and Robin, her son-in-laws, Devinder and Sanjay, her daughter-in-law, Neera, will cherish her memory and the mark she has made on our lives. Mom’s grandchildren, her greatest source of joy and happiness, Tarun, Sabyna, Elesha, Rishal, Devin, Jaitin and Serena have lost a grandmother they absolutely adored. Mom’s surviving brothers, sisters, brother-in-laws, sisters-in-laws and their families will remember her with great affection. Mom’s many friends and fans will miss her zest for life, wit, charm, humour, generosity and culinary talents.
Mom was born in Delhi India on October 4th, 1940 to Mathura Das and Vidya Wati Bhalla as the sixth of ten children. Mom and Dad married on May 10th 1959. They migrated to Canada in 1963 to raise their family and give us the opportunities we could not have in India. Mom had an inner strength, rare level of compassion and an abundance of love that she freely shared among all those that knew her. She built a large extended family across the globe with the pull of her kindness. This family will continue to keep her alive in our hearts.
