I shall always remember the time we spent in Canada and the way you took care of us. All the places you took us to, in and around Toronto, especially Heart Lake. I will forever cherish those memories and keep them in my heart. In recent years I took delight in receiving your marvellous pieces of photography and your communications. Such lovely videos including Guyana, emails and phone calls. My family and I miss you very much.

I recall the good times I spent with Brother Tim and Sybil on weekends when I was in highschool staying with Poowah and Popah in Metten-Meer-Zorg East and attending Zeeburg Secondary School. Tim and Sybil were living in Pike Stree, Kitty, at the time, and Kelvin (their first child) had not as yet been born. As often as I could, I would turn up suddenly at their home on Friday afternoons. I was always welcomed.
It was during these weekends that I spent at their home that I learned to like reading novels. I can vividly recall the first one: Puppet on a Chain by Allistair McLean. Since I did't have anything to do the next day, I would sometimes read throughout the night!
These were some very good memories from yesteryear.
