Obituary of Irena Lilianna Klepka

Irena Lilianna Klepka (Czendlik), 62, of Cambridge, Ontario, passed away on July 4, 2023.

Irena was born in Poland on Dec 18, 1960. 

She married her beloved husband in 1981 and they spent 42 precious years together. Their son Martin was born in Poland in 1981 and the three immigrated from Poland to create a new life in Canada in October of 1989. Soon thereafter, their daughter Karolina was born in the summer of 1990. 

Irena was both a loving and loyal wife and a nurturing and caring mother. She cared for her family immensely, and prioritized her children above all else. Her dedication to her family grew in the past 7 years as she was blessed with 6 beautiful grandchildren. 

Irena was a woman of strong faith. She loved attending church and her devotion to Christ was unwavering. No matter where she was or who she was seeing that day, she always presented herself, her family, and her home beautifully. Anyone who knew her would tell you she was a fabulous cook and always made sure everyone’s belly was full. 

She was a lover of all things colorful. She loved nature, being outside, and especially her flowers. She loved all animals but particularly her pets. It is a comfort to know she will now have her beloved Kona and Kasper at her side as she watches over us from heaven. Along with her love for all those around her, she also had a passion for traveling and vacationing with her family. She has visited many of the beautiful beaches in the Caribbean and several cities, both overseas and in the US. 

Above all else, Irena has left behind a marvelous legacy that will live on through family and friends.

Funeral Mass will be held at St. Eugene De Mazenod Church located at 1252 Steeles Ave W, Brampton, Ontario on Monday, July 10 at 10 AM.  Burial will follow at Meadowvale Cemetery located at 7732 Mavis Road, Brampton, Ontario. The burial will be followed by a reception at  St. Eugene Church reception hall. Lotus Funeral Home (Toronto) will be handling the funeral arrangements.

Irena was born in Bytom, Poland to Jozef and Janina Czendlik on December 18, 1960.

Irena is survived by her Husband, Janusz Krzysztof Klepka, her son Marcin (Lisa) Klepka, her daughter Karolina (Arek) Jachtorowicz, her 6 beautiful grandchildren, Blakely (6.5), Tyson (5), Clayton (3), Brooklyn (10 mo.) Klepka and Mia (2.5) and Arianna (1) Jachtorowicz. Also Irena’s mother Janina Czendlik, and her brother Tomasz Czendlik.
