I read a book called "Rich dad Poor dad" when I was in my younger years and it really changed my perspective on life and business. It was around the same time Uncle Frank and Aunt Tee started spending more time in Nfld and I really got to know him, talk to him and learn from him. In his own way he became my mentor and I will always be thankful for the lessons he passed onto me, sometimes a lot harsher than I liked (LOL) but to the point.
A small memory that I will always cherish is when me and my daughter Morgan flew to Toronto to drive down a moving truck for him. I said yes we will do it if we get to use his new Porsche for a couple of hours. When we got back Morgan asked him if he could burn rubber in all 5 gears, he said no!! She being young at the time said well my dad can!!
I got the stare for that one.
Goodbye Uncle until we meet again!!
