We spent years standing outside 299 Queen street together at four in the morning. In some of the roughest weather -- rain, snow, cold, extreme cold. You get to know a person huddling for warmth! Namai kept it positive and had a blast doing what he was doing. An outstanding individual. Shocked to hear of his passing.

I worked with Nimai for years on CP24 Breakfast. He always had something positive to say to start the day.
I will miss our chats about everything in life and our shared love of photography.
He was a great man who was taken from us too soon, and I will miss him immensely.

I always loved working with Nimai, he was an amazing human that always looked at the glass half full. I'm happy I got to know him but so sad that he isn't with us anymore. There are so many words to describe the incredible human Nimai was. Humble, smart, kind, always looked for the rainbow through the clouds. He cared about his peers, and I will truly miss our "Hey its Friday Junior" and "It's Fri-yay" reminders. Nimai was a gentle soul who brought light and positivity to our CP24 Breakfast show every morning. We embraced his outlook on life and will miss his presence in our lives so much.
He was passionate about his camera work and a true professional.
At the end of every show he always said to me “I loved that show! It was so much fun!” When it rained he said “look on the bright side, it’s a free car wash!” Nimai’s favourite shoots were ones that involved cars. He beamed with excitement when he was in the parking surrounded by cars and he always knew everything about them! We relied on his car knowledge a lot as we knew he knew what he was talking about.
I will miss you Nimai. May you rest in peace.

I feel I missed the opportunity to say how decent a person Nimai truly was. How I respected him and his work ethic. He was always positive and complimentary. He was a solid worker and human being. He was always polite. He was genuinely good and an individual that I truly respect. We could benefit a lot if more people were like Nimai. This is a huge loss but I also feel lucky to have known him the little that I did. I can only imagine the loss his closest family and friends must feel. He will be missed greatly.

The loss of Nimai is enormous both as a colleague and a friend. Nimai was professional, kind and positive. Every morning he would tell me
"This is going to be an awesome show" and with him it always was.
