John and I have shared so many memories with Ann and Bill and their family.
From the day we met in the gymnasium at Grantham United Church when our girls were 2 years old. We couldn't believe that we could make such good friends in such a short time that would span over 45 years.
This family that was so important in our lives that we traveled to New Brunswick to visit them, not once, but 2 times while they lived there.
Weekends were often shared and meals after church, family camping trips, junior choir, couples club, dinner parties for any special occasion, etc.
Our church remained a strong connection until we moved away from St Catharines.
Our dear friend will remain with us in our memories forever.
Condolences, Bill, Heather, Ian and Steven, your spouses, children and Grandchildren.
Rest in peace, dear Ann, in the arms of your Lord.

I honestly can't recall a time when Ann (and Bill and the family) weren't a part of my life. We met through Grantham United Church, where many wonderful people came into my life. Ann was always gentle, kind, generous, sharing and giving. I remember many times with Ann where I can't recall the words but I can recall that feeling of happiness, laughter and fun. I had the priviledge of babysitting the children when they were small, travelling to NB with Ann and the kids, sharing many laughs and always, always enjoying the time we had together. She was a very special woman and will be missed but never forgotten.

We first met Ann and Bill when we were all young and foolish, in our pre-children era. We enjoyed many things together - bridge, camping, singing in the church choir, and couples' club. Ann was always such a positive and caring friend, with a great sense of humour, and a "helping heart". We lost track of one another in our middle age years, but "fate" brought us together again in our golden years at Heritage Village. It was wonderful to see Ann's beautiful smile and outgoing spirit once again on a regular basis. Even after her diagnosis and treatment, Ann spent many mornings in the club house having coffee with the friends she had come to know in her Heritage Village home. On my way into swimming, I usually stopped to say hello to her in the coffee room, and hear how things were going. The world has lost a beautiful woman, but heaven has gained a precious angel.

I was so sad to see Ann's obituary today in the Standard. I read her life story just now and it described her perfectly. She was so kind and patient with the students when she taught at the Collegiate. She was so friendly and we tried so hard to have her in our math department but there was no room. Ann sure had a full life and did so much for so many. My condolences to Bill and the family. Ann was a special lady!

Ann was one of the finest people with whom I have ever had the pleasure of working. As a new teacher at Westlane S.S., Ann was instrumental in helping to develop the Niagara South Board of Education Student Leadership Program - a program that eventually became renown throughout Ontario schools. On her family's return from the east coast, and Ann re-entered teaching in Niagara, she was on my speed-dial to supply teach at a moment's notice. Regardless of the subject teacher she was replacing, we knew that there would be quality instruction taking place in that classroom. There was no question that it would only be a short time before she would become a permanent staff member in our school system. In retirement, it was a pleasure having Ann & Bill move out here to Heritage Village. Her smiling face and positive attitude was an inspiration to all who knew her. To Bill and family - our sincerest condolences from Bill & Liz Brooker

Our memories of living in New Brunswick and friendship with the Clarke’s are tightly intertwined. Ann and I looked after each other’s youngest children so she could play bridge and I could curl. Our sons, Ian and Eric were great friends and we couldn’t wait for Heather to be old enough to babysit. We shared a memorable Christmas dinner and camping trip together.
Ann’s passing hits me particularly hard and my heart goes out to the family who have an impossible hole to fill. Truly loved Ann.

Bill and family,
Our sincere condolences on the loss of your Wife, Mother and Grandmother. Ann will be missed by many!
What a beautiful picture you have chosen for us to remember Ann’s lovely smile.
Steve and I will always remember her from that day in Red Bay when she so warmly welcomed us to the campground at Tiffin.
Ann was so proud of her family. Although we have not officially met “the Clark family” we feel we know Heather, Ian and Stephen and their children from the stories Ann so lovingly shared.
We will always cherish the time we spent together!
May you all find comfort through your sadness and smiles through your tears as you share the memories of your special times together.
