Algamah Baba Ramlingum
Algamah Ramlingum fondly known as Baba, age 90, passed away peacefully at Faith Manor Nursing Home on Friday December 29th, 2023.
Baba is now reunited with her late Husband, Ramlingum. She will be forever missed by her children, Latch (late-Ambica), Radica (Desai), Desmond (Ena), Sandra (Taff), Hurman (Rehana), Norman (Diane), John (Vita) and Paul (Gaitri). She was a loving grandmother to her twenty-one grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren. Baba is survived by her three sisters, Doorine, Elieen, Beryl and brother, Boy Narsaya. Baba will be remembered as a loving, funny and outgoing individual. She loved spending time with her family, cooking and watching Bollywood movies. The Ramlingum family would like to express their most deepest gratitude to the staff at Faith Manor Nursing Home for their compassion and care during this difficult time and for their commitment to giving Baba an amazing care during her time there.
The visitation will be held at Lotus Funeral Home (121 City View Dr, Toronto) on Wednesday January 3rd from 6:00 to 9:00pm. The funeral service will be held at Faith Lutheran Church (96 Hucknall Rd, North York) on Thursday January 4th at 11:00am, followed by the Burial at Beechwood Cemetery (7241 Jane St, Concord) at 1pm.
