In Loving Memory of Kundnandini Jean Mohabir

July, 11^th, 1955 – January, 17^th, 2024

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Kundnandini Jean Mohabir who was 68 years of age, who left us on January, 17^th, 2024 in Hempstead County, Long Island, NY. She was surrounded by many loved ones including her Husband, 2 of her sons, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, and her sister Satyavati.

Kundnandini Jean Mohabir was born on July, 11^th, 1955 in Berbice, Guyana to Ramrup Rangnauth and Boodrani Persaud. She peacefully departed but will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her husband, Khemraj John Mohabir, her three sons, Andrew Mohabir, Aaron Mohabir, and Steven Bhairo, her sisters and brothers-in-law, Satyavati Maharaj (Ramsukh Maharaji), Lily Sookraj (Morris Sookraj), Renuka Ramrup, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and cherished friends.

Kundnandini Jean Mohabir led a fulfilling life marked greatly by the love she had for her husband and children. She perfected the skill of customer service and mortgage broker to provide for her family and raise her sons. Furthermore, by providing for her family, she developed great culinary skills that would marvel the greatest of culinary chefs.

The viewing will be held on Monday, January, 29^th, 2024 from 6 pm – 9 pm at Lotus Funeral Home. Also, the Funeral services will be held at Lotus Funeral Home as well from 11 am – 1 pm and the burial will take place at Beechwood Cemetery at 2 pm on Tuesday, January 30^th, 2024.  Friends and family are invited to join in remembering Kundnandini Jean Mohabir's life and sharing stories.

Our family would like to express our gratitude for the support and condolences during this difficult time.
