Tisheena Burnette, aged 26, passed away at her home in Peterborough, ON on April 22, 2024. She was employed in sales at Fabricville and loved to sew and make all of her clothes, as well the clothing for her children. Tisheena also enjoyed crocheting, knitting, baking and cooking.
She was a loving mother to her children, who she loved dearly: son Leo (4 years old) & daughter Maisei (1½ years old).
Tisheena was predeceased by her mother Sophia Burnette and her grandparents, Henry & Phyllis Lewis.
Besides her children, Tisheena is survived by and will be lovingly remembered by: - her siblings: Cameron-Jaivon, Chanel & Malcolm Burnette; - her aunts: Vivienne, Carmen, Blondette & Paulette (her adopted mom from 2 years old); - her uncles: Rudolph & Kirk; her 1st cousins: Amy & Douglas, Felicia & Jamar, Tianah & Devante, Dante & Deanna, Kyrandra, Ingrid, Billy, Evelyne, Allison, Bridgett and Tommy; her extended family & friends – thank you for being a part of Tisheena’s life. Special thanks to Sue Anderson, who has been like Tisheena’s grandmother over the years from the age of 2 years old. To everyone in Peterborough, ON who have been a part of her life, THANK YOU!
Cremation has taken place. A private family burial will be held in the near future at Beechwood Cemetery in Toronto.
