Obituary of Sabitry Sookram
Sabitry Sookram also known as 'Finey' from 64 Village peacefully departed from this world at the age of 69 years old on Thursday July 4th at Credit Valley Hospital.
Finey was born on February 23rd, 1955 at Cotton Tree Village Corentyne, Berbice, Guyana.
She was very kind and generous to everyone, always putting others first before herself.
She was very hardworking and a dedicated woman, well respected for her work as a seamstress at a very young age and a business woman. Worked together with her husband in the fishing and farming industry.
She was loved everywhere she went and loved all of her family wholeheartedly.
Finey was a strong believer of the Creator and loved learning the Bible. She loved to crochet, loved music even though she didn't like to dance, she loved to cook all kinds of Guyanese food
Finey was survived by her husband Remmy, Daughters: Usha and Soney, Granddaughters: Presica and Seyana, Son-in-laws: Sheldon and the late Richie, Parents: LN and Bodo, Siblings: Sako, Rupa, Delip, Rishi, Bhai and Pradeep.
Finey is very loved and will be dearly missed by her loved ones.
