Obituary of Anneliese Bleyer
It is with deep sadness that we share the news of the sudden passing of our beloved Tante Anneliese on October 28, 2024 at the age of 93 years in Toronto, Canada.
Anneliese Bleyer (née Drabencki) was born in Hamburg, Germany to Agnes (née Trawka) and Kasimir Drabencki on July 6, 1931. She worked as a cleaner for many years. She enjoyed travelling Europe and hiking the Austrian and Italian Alps with her husband Gerhard.
Anneliese is survived by her sister, Ingrid Hadden (née Drabencki) of Quinte West, Ontario, her niece Colleen, nephews Michael (Florita) and Sean (Pavla), her grand-niece Christine and her grand-nephew Christopher. She is preceded in death by her husband, Gerhard and her son, Jürgen.
The family would like to thank everyone who helped Anneliese in her time of need, including the first responders and medical personnel.
Cremation will be held at Lotus Funeral & Cremation, Etobicoke, Ontario, CANADA on November 9th, 2024 at 5:00pm. Lotus Funeral and Cremation will be handling the cremation arrangements.
