Nick gave me my first Valentines Day gift, we were in grade 3 and just before recess he gave me a chocolate rose. 5 years later we were 13, he road to my house on his scooter and asked me to go to grade 8 grad with him. Nick was kind and thoughtful. My heart aches for his family and their loss of someone who should have had a lifetime full of opportunities. Nick you will be missed dearly. Nick! I remember that one year for my birthday I can’t remember how old I was turning. But you care in 5 years younger then me with a full bottle of Ciroc as my gift and back the ciroc was a big thing. You always made sure you came to all my gatherings. We would always bill up at them or family ones or even my moms garage. The garage isn’t going to be the same anymore it’s weird going in there now and it’s all my things in there. I can’t even remember the last time I saw you but I know we had fun and enjoyed ourselves. We always did. I wish I could of spent more time with you before you said your final goodbyes but I’m happy I got to see you the minute you left us I’ll hold that memory with me forever. I truly do not know where to start. Cannot believe we are about to celebrate 2 years in 10 days. It honestly feels like you're just on one of your trips to Florida and we are just waiting for you to come back home. The last time I was with you was 2 weeks after your last birthday, I was just stopping in with my mom ( Aunty Sunita) to come and pick up some food or something & I always made sure I would head downstairs towards the basement to check if you were home and you were chilling on your bed with the TV on while you were on your phone. I jumped on your bed and starting rubbing up your belly asking when my niece or nephew was gonna be born cause every time I saw you, your belly got bigger lol. You then wanted to go out for a quick beer and smoke. We literally hung out for like 15-20 mins & if I honestly knew that was going to be my last time being with you, I would of gave you thee biggest hug & kiss of life and would of expressed to you how much you were loved. I recently went camping with your parents & to see Aunty Raf having such a great time after the turmoil she has been thru these past 2 years was honestly such a gift. Your dad, even had a special moment while up in Muskoka that he will never forget! I will forever miss you, the days nor the years get easier but we will always keep your memory alive. I remember back in Jan 2019 you were at the house and I bought you some lottery tickets and you had a dream couple of days later and told me you were walking in a flower field holding gold bricks just living life and I truly believe that's exactly where you are now- walking thru a beautiful heavenly flower field holding your gold bricks with a huge smile on your face! Rest Easy Nick, I love you <3
