Georg was such a presence, it is hard to imagine a world without him. I remember him at almost every PEO West Toronto chapter event I attended, usually taking photos and sharing them with the rest of the chapter. I also remember sitting across from him at many chapter board meetings where he always brought so much knowledge, experience and passion to whatever we were discussing.

Georg was one of the first volunteers I met when I started working for the PEO Chapter Office in 2017. I had the pleasure of seeing and chatting with him at many events and I was always struck by his dedication and jovial nature: a real gentleman. And the pictures! He catalogued and shared thousands of photos over the years. I also enjoyed his weekly newsletter, the Chronometer, a creation that I felt must have been a real labour of love, as I imagined it took a lot of time and care to put together each week. I am attaching a photo of Georg and then Chapters Manager, Matthew Ng (dec.), taken when Georg became a Fellow in Engineers Canada Fellowship (FEC). Pfiat di.

Memory eternal to Georg!
I volunteered with Georg for Processional Engineers of Ontario (PEO) many years and I learnt a lot from him.
He shared with me a number of photos he took at our PEO events with his big camera he was proud of.
He was a great colleague and friend!
He will be remembered!
My sincere condolence to Georg's family.

I was a close friend & colleague of Georg Anton Kralik, M.A.Sc., P.Eng, FEC, OoH, and served along with him on the Executive Board of Professional Engineers Ontario-West Toronto Chapter (PEO-WTC), for 15 years until his recent passing away on April 25, 2023.
He would often give me a ride to venues such as the Etobicoke Golf & Country Club, where PEO-WTC held our Quad Licence Presentation Ceremonies along with three other neighboring Chapters of PEO.
He was very punctilious & precise in whatever he did, and was a credit to the Profession of Engineering in Ontario and Canada, being honoured by each with: an Order of Honour (OoH) by PEO, and a Fellowship (FEC), by Engineers Canada.
I have attached a photo of Georg & myself, taken at an Ontario Professional Engineers Awards ceremony attended by over 500 other engineers & their guests, held at the Toronto International Centre on November 17, 2018. Georg Kralik is wearing his Order of Honour Medal of which he was very proud!
With my best wishes to his family and friends,
Professional Engineer 1976
